Pharmacy PAC is an important advocate promoting a pharmacy-friendly legislative agenda. Participating in the legislative process by providing contributions to candidates who support pharmacy legislation is vital to the success of public health initiatives. A politically active and aware membership in Pharmacy PAC is vital to ensuring pharmacists’ professional interests are represented.

Pharmacy PAC Awards
Each year, Pharmacy PAC recognizes deserving individuals at the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition. These awards honor people who provide contributions toward the advancement of pharmacy and/or public health initiatives within state, local or federal government. If you know an individual who fits this criteria, consider nominating them for the Pharmacy PAC Good Public Policy Award or Good Government Award. The Good Public Health Policy Award is presented to a member of the legislature, while the Good Government Award is presented to an MPA member. Recipients of both awards are selected by the Pharmacy PAC Board of Directors.

To submit a nomination, complete a nomination form and submit it to MPA Director of Governmental Affairs Greg Baran by e-mail to Greg@MichiganPharmacists.org or by fax to (517) 484-4893.
