Award by the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) during the association's
Annual Convention & Exposition from Feb. 21-23, at the Hyatt Regency in
Dearborn, Mich.
The Fred W. Arnold Award recognizes an MPA member who has shown outstanding
achievement and dedication to the pharmacy profession through community education
with an emphasis on public speaking and/or presentations.

poison prevention puppet shows at area schools, and participated in Safe Kids
Day.
Koski earned both a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

as well as being active in her local associations. Koski is currently adjunct
instructor for the Department of Medicine at Michigan State University and assistant
professor of pharmacy practice for Ferris State University at MGH.
The award, in honor of Fred W. Arnold, who was the epitome of dedication to
his profession through education of the public on pharmacy issues and promotion
of local association functions, was presented to Koski for the same reasons.
The MPA, serving 3,500 pharmacy professionals, strives to be a leader in professional
and scientific advancement by following its mission of encouraging and supporting
its members as the professionals responsible for the delivery of patient-oriented
pharmaceutical care.
