The Michigan Society of Pharmacy Technicians will host the Five-Live Continuing Education Event on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Diplomat, 4100 South Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48507.

This event is designed specifically for pharmacy technicians and will offer up to five hours of live continuing education credit focusing on pain, law and patient safety topics that meet the pharmacy technician certification requirements.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds (less a $10 administrative fee) will be granted for cancellations received in writing (postmark or fax date) prior to Sept. 1, 2017. Refunds will not be granted to no-shows and cancellations received after Sept. 1, 2017. Requests for refunds due to inclement weather will not be granted.

PCE Credit Statement

This activity is structured to meet knowledge-based educational needs. A knowledge-based activity acquires factual knowledge. Information in knowledge-based activities is based on evidence as accepted in the literature by the healthcare professions. Pharmacy continuing education (PCE) credit will be earned based on participation in this activity. Any individual who is more than 10 minutes late to an activity or leaves an activity early will not be granted PCE credit. This procedure will be strictly enforced, so please plan accordingly. Participants must complete an online activity evaluation by Oct. 2, 2017. Credit will not be processed until the online evaluation has officially closed for response on Oct. 2, 2017. Please allow MPA two weeks to process and upload credit to CPE Monitor. NOTE: ACPE guidelines prohibit MPA from issuing credit more than 60 days after the activity for any reason; therefore, to avoid denial of credit, it is imperative that participants complete the online evaluation and posttest by the deadline indicated to allow sufficient time for processing. If all requirements are met, participants will receive pharmacy continuing education (PCE) credit through CPE Monitor. It will be the responsibility of the participant to provide the correct information. If this information is not correctly provided, NABP and ACPE prohibit MPA from issuing CPE credit.
