Registration is available
online for MPA Legislative Day, March 24, 2010, at Karoub Associates in downtown Lansing. Attendees earn 3.0 contact hours of live continuing education by participating in this all-day event. The day’s events include a presentation of MPA’s 2010 legislative priorities, the importance of Michigan’s 2010 election and a pharmacy inspectors report, as well as legislative meetings or a tour of the state capitol and lunch with the Michigan House Bipartisan Freshmen Caucus.
Legislative Day is the vehicle that allows pharmacy professionals to work with legislators to design policies and formulate an achievable and effective method for implementing a proactive approach to health care. In the complex world of health care, the exchange of information between legislators and practitioners is critical. The event is designed to break the barriers of communication and develop open dialog between pharmacists and lawmakers. Register
online by March 5 to save on registration rates. For additional information, contact MPA Professional Practice Assistant
