In addition to the two programs already scheduled for this summer, MPA added another immunization program on Aug. 28 at Wayne State University.
This program will be exclusive to Wayne State student pharmacists. WSU faculty members who are pharmacists may also attend. The Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Program is designed to provide innovative and interactive training that teaches participants the skills necessary to become a primary source for vaccine administration and information.
Registrants will receive a self study approximately four weeks prior to the live training. The study must be completed and submitted at registration on the day of the live training. Successful completion of the study will result in 12 hours of continuing education credits. The live seminar will account for an additional eight hours of live continuing education, resulting in 20 hours total for the program.
