Although the registration deadline has passed for the July Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Program, MPA is still hosting two additional programs this summer: one on
Aug. 24 at the new MPA headquarters and one on
Aug. 28 at Wayne State University (WSU) designed specifically for WSU student pharmacists and pharmacy faculty members.
Participants in the immunization program will learn the importance of the pharmacist’s role in vaccine delivery; how vaccines prevent disease; information on establishing a pharmacy-based immunization program; and a skills training and assessment.
Registrants will be mailed a self-study approximately four weeks prior to the live training. The study must be completed and turned in at registration the day of the live seminar. Successful completion of this component will result in 12 hours of continuing education (CE). An additional eight hours of live CE will be awarded to those successfully completing the live seminar component, for a total of 20 hours for the program.
Registration for the two events is available through the links provided above. For additional information, please contact MPA Marketing & Sales Assistant
Cynthia Rowe at (517) 377-0222.
