MPA is accepting applications for the 2010 Great Lakes Young Pharmacists Leadership Conference (GLYPLC) until Sept. 8. This conference is designed to identify leaders, enhance leadership skills of participants and provide motivation to seek greater awareness and involvement in issues confronting the profession. Applicants must have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Participants will earn 6.25 hours of continuing education credit, have the invaluable opportunity to connect with other new practitioners and learn leadership skills to advance the role of the pharmacist in the health care delivery system.
The conference will be held at the Maumee Bay Resort and Conference Center in Oregon, Ohio. MPA, Indiana Pharmacists Alliance and Ohio Pharmacists Association will underwrite the majority of the costs of the conference for the participants, including lodging and food. Participants will be required to pay $150 of the conference fees.
