The latest programming list for the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) Annual Meeting is available
online. This year’s event will be held Nov. 5 at the Crowne Plaza in Grand Rapids.
Program topics currently include a presentation on medication errors by humorist Joel Weintraub; an overview of the incident command system; clinical pearls on pediatrics, cardiology, infectious diseases and depression; a leadership track on using technology to increase effectiveness; a clinical track on anticoagulants; and a meet the experts leadership track on medication waste disposal, preceptorship and building bridges between various pharmacy roles. In addition, for the second year, an adult, infant and child CPR course will be offered for an additional fee.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to register prior to Oct. 25, as rates will increase after this date. Student pharmacists and residents receive complimentary registration through this date, but will be assessed a $10 fee thereafter. Registration is available
