Each year in the spring, MPA holds Legislative Day to bridge the communication gap between pharmacy professionals and government officials. The 2011 event will be held March 23 at Karoub Associates in downtown Lansing.
Attendees will earn 2.75 hours of live continuing education. Presentations will be given on MPA’s 2011 legislative priorities, how to best protect your pharmacy license and the health care priorities of the 96th Michigan legislature. In addition, participants will have lunch with legislators in attendance and have the opportunity to hold legislative meetings or tour the Capitol.
To register, visit the
event page on the MPA Web site or look for a registration form in the upcoming January/February edition of
Michigan Pharmacist journal. Those planning to attend are encouraged to register by March 14, as rates will increase after this date.
