MPA is offering two continuing education programs in the coming months, in addition to the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition. MPA Legislative Day will be held March 23 at Karoub Associates in Lansing. Participants will earn up to 2.75 hours of live CE credit, as well as gain knowledge of MPA’s 2011 legislative priorities, how to protect your pharmacy license and health care priorities of the 96th Michigan legislature. Legislative meetings and a tour of the Capitol will also be offered. This is a great opportunity to break the barriers of communication between pharmacy professionals and government officials. In addition, MPA will be holding the Northern Michigan Pharmacy Education and Suppliers Seminar April 2-4 in Grayling. Attendees will be offered up to nine hours of live CE credit. This annual seminar is designed to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with up-to-date information on medications, legislation affecting pharmacies, pain management and other specialized CE topics.
