MPA has a variety of technician training materials available in its Online Store, including a new Pharmacy Technician Continuing Education Workbook. The workbook contains an assortment of continuing education articles designed especially for pharmacy technicians. Written and reviewed by an established group of professionals, it offers 7.25 hours of CE credit, including at least one hour of pharmacy law, as required for certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. The workbook is $25 for members or $50 for nonmembers.

In addition, MPA offers a Pharmacy Certified Technician Training Manual to assist pharmacy technicians in staying up-to-date on the latest professional information vital to their practice, as well as prepare for their certification exam. The 11th edition is available for $49.75 for members and nonmembers.

The Pharmacy Certified Technician Calculations Workbook, currently in its third edition, is also available. This publication was complete rewritten in 2010, and includes all new examples, review questions and real-life applications. A CD-ROM with all the problem answers, including the step-by-step math to arrive at the solutions, is also available separately or as a combination package with the book.
