Those wishing to attend the upcoming Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Program on June 7 at the MPA Family of Companies Headquarters in Lansing must register by Friday, May 27.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery is an innovative and interactive training program that teaches pharmacists the skills necessary to become a primary source for vaccine information and administration. The program teaches the basics of immunology and focuses on practice implementation and legal/regulatory issues.
There are two components to the program: a self-study that’s mailed to registrants approximately four weeks prior to the event date and a live training seminar. Successful completion of the self-study will result in 12 hours of continuing education (CE) credit. In addition, successful completion of the live seminar will result in eight additional hours of live CE credit.
