Members can still register
online for next week’s MPA Continuing Education Symposium. This event will be held Aug. 23-24 at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids.
Participants have the opportunity to earn up to 10 hours of live continuing education (CE) credit. The Opening Session on choosing an opioid for chronic pain meets requirements for obtaining pain management CE credit for pharmacists. In addition, the General Session meets pharmacy law requirements for certified pharmacy technicians.
At the end of this symposium, attendees should be able to describe the future of pharmacy and implement strategies to affect pharmacy in their practice setting. Participants should also be able to identify areas related to pharmacy that would enhance their professional development, as well as discuss at least one new therapeutic option revealed at this event.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to network with exhibitors during refreshment functions held throughout the symposium. For additional information or to register, visit the
event page on the MPA Web site.
