Take Advantage of MPA’s New Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training Program

MPA has a number of resources available to assist members in completing their annual fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training, including a new DVD presentation entitled “The Medicare Trilogy: Effective Compliance Program; Fraud, Waste and Abuse Education; and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) 2011 Surveillance Program.” FWA training must be completed by Dec. 31 each year. 

This program has been approved for one hour of continuing education (CE) credit. To obtain credit, purchase the DVD from the MPA online store, or by calling the MPA office at (517) 484-1466. Then, visit the online CE section of the Association Web site to complete the posttest and evaluation. 

The DVD is $5 to purchase. An additional fee applies for CE credit (for pharmacists: members, $15; nonmembers, $25; for pharmacy technicians: members, $10; nonmembers, $20).
