Pharmacy technicians have the opportunity to earn up to 6 hours of live continuing education (CE) credit at the upcoming Pharmacy Technician Continuing Education Summit. The Summit will be held Nov. 17, 2011, at the MPA Family of Companies Headquarters in Lansing.
Programming will cover trendy drugs and paraphernalia, sexual harassment, as well as provide a calculations refresher course and programming that meets law CE requirements for pharmacy technicians.
In addition, MPA and Pharmacy Services Inc. (PSI) will offer skills evaluations for CPR certification for those interested after the Summit has adjourned. MPA and PSI have partnered with ProCPR to offer pharmacy professionals an accredited CPR certification program. Those interested in taking advantage of the skills evaluation must complete the online training and testing prior to Nov. 17.
