Last Chance to Register for Next Week’s Pharmacy Law Webinar

MPA is holding a webinar entitled Pharmacy Law is in a State of Transition on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 7-8 p.m.. Those interested in participating have until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12 to register. Registration is available online or by completing a printable registration form. When registering online, be sure you are logged into the Web site to receive member discounted pricing. In addition, Pharmacy Services Inc. (PSI) Cooperative Buying Group members are eligible for special discounted rates. 

Participants will learn about recent changes to the Public Health Code related to new requirements for reporting the sale of pseudoephedrine products, recent changes to the scope of practice for physician assistants, and changes to the controlled substance section and the pharmacy and drug control section related to dispensing for out-of-state practitioners. One hour of live continuing education credit is also being offered.
