The workshop is designed to provide practical implementation steps to be in compliance with the hazardous waste regulations applicable to health care pharmaceutical and biomedical waste. Guidance documents developed by the Michigan Health & Hospital Association’s Green Health Care Pharmaceutical Advisory Committee with assistance from the Department of Environmental Quality on Trace and Bulk Chemotherapy Waste and Universal Waste will be discussed.
