Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan, is launching a new Pharmacy Technician Certificate program in the Fall 2018 semester. This newly created program will prepare students for a career as a licensed pharmacy technician in a variety of pharmacy settings, including drug stores, hospitals and long-term care facilities. All courses in the nine-month program will be taught by licensed pharmacists and provide students with the knowledge needed to assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medicines.

Openings exist for part-time faculty members for Pharmaceutical Calculations for Technicians in the Fall 2018 semester and Pharmacology for Technicians in the Winter 2019 semester, with each class conducted on Monday and Wednesday morning. Qualified applicants may also be eligible to teach or substitute in other courses of this program, as the need arises.
Applicants must possess valid, full and unlimited pharmacist license in the State of Michigan, with experience in teaching pharmacy technicians, either in academia or in a work setting.
