One of the ways the Michigan Pharmacists Association carries out its mission of encouraging
and supporting pharmacy professionals deliver patient-oriented pharmaceutical care is by providing
them with information.

The information contained in this section is expressly for pharmacy professionals, such as a section devoted to MPA’s pharmaceutical care endeavors.

   In this section of the website, you can find information on the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation, an organization formed to support pharmaceutical care endeavors; Pharmacy PAC, the political action council that helps to advance pharmacy’s interests in the legislature and support pharmacy-friendly candidates.

   Additionally, you can learn more about the practice sections and affiliated chapters of the association, each formed to meet the special needs within a certain pharmacy professional population. The groups include societies for community pharmacists, consultant pharmacists, health-system pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmaceutical representatives.

   Also, be sure to check out the calendar of upcoming events and the Suppliers Directory that links you to companies supplying goods and services to the pharmacy community. The classifieds contain some placement opportunities and announce pharmacy services, and the books/products section will link you to training manuals, reference material, patient education tools and ancillary items for your pharmacy practice.
