Welcome to MPA's H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Toolkit!

H1N1 Vaccine Information

Pharmacists play a critical role in seasonal flu vaccination programs each fall, and now must continue to meet that community health need by partnering with Local Public Health Departments to obtain the H1N1 Flu vaccine and provide vaccinations to patients. Oral Antiviral Distribution

Community pharmacies are being offered a unique chance to partner with Local Public Health Departments to assist with the possible dispensing of Strategic National Stockpile oral antivirals if needed.  Community pharmacies and Public Health have always shared the same goals of preventative care and public education, and now have an opportunity to expand upon that relationship.  In order to participate in this program you must follow these steps:

Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR)

Register each of your dispensing sites on the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) using  either Provider User/Usage Agreement, or Dispensing Pharmacy User/Usage Agreement. The Provider User/Usage agreement allows you to report vaccine and oral antivirals, the Dispensing Pharmacy User/Usage agreement allows you to report oral antivirals only.
