At the end of this activity, participants should be able to explain the general role of vaccines within the immune system, explain the types of vaccines that are available, explain the different immunization routes for vaccines and the recommended technique involved and identify potential roles of pharmacy technicians in regards to vaccinations in the pharmacy setting.
