Pharmacists are in a position to improve medication use through the delivery of medication therapy management (MTM) services. If you would like to learn more about developing, implementing, delivering and sustaining MTM services in your pharmacy, consider attending the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) MTM Certificate Training Program on Aug. 10 in Lansing. Held in conjunction with Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Science, this program includes an overview of the marketplace for delivering MTM services, guidance for implementing MTM services in pharmacy practice, a review of the essential skills and knowledge needed for performing MTM successfully and an organized process for identifying medication-related problems. Registration is available online. See the program brochure for complete details, including programming, registration fees and more.
