Applications for the 2017 MPF Grant Program must be submitted by Oct. 1, 2016 for consideration. Every year, MPF accepts grant applications from individual pharmacy professionals, including student pharmacists and residents, pharmacy organizations, colleges of pharmacy and pharmacy businesses who desire to obtain funding for a project that promotes the mission of MPF.

Michigan Pharmacy Foundation (MPF) provides grant funding for projects that support its mission to advance pharmacy leadership, education and research and to promote pharmacy practice to the highest level of patient care. For more than 20 years, the Foundation has awarded in excess of $250,000 in grant funding for projects that advance the profession.

Programs seeking grant funding for programming on the following topics are preferred:
  • Pain Management
  • Substance Abuse and Addiction
  • Public Health Management

Applications can be e-mailed to Eric Roath, MPF executive director, at Eric@MichiganPharmacists.org; or mailed to Michigan Pharmacy Foundation, Attn: Eric Roath, 408 Kalamazoo Plaza, Lansing, MI 48933. If your application is mailed, you must provide three copies. Please note that faxed applications will not be accepted. For 2016, MPF has allocated up to a total of $11,000 in funding to be awarded for grant proposals. If multiple grant applications are accepted, the $11,000 will be divided among all grantees.
