Registration for the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation (MPF) Adopt-a-Student is now open! By being “adopted,” you have the opportunity to network with pharmacy practice leaders from across the State of Michigan. You will spend the evening of Saturday, Feb. 25 during the Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition with your adoptive pharmacist “parent.” Pharmacist parents are a great source of advice, stories and general wisdom. This is your chance to start building the foundation of your professional network.
If you are a Student Michigan Pharmacists Association member, and you would like to participate in the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation Adopt-a-Student program:
Step 1: Complete the student registration form on the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition website.
Step 2: You must also provide your practice area of interest; a short biography about yourself, including your professional goals and why you chose pharmacy as your career path, and a high-resolution professional headshot photograph by going online at http://www.michiganpharmacists.org/foundation/adoptastudent. NOTE: This must be done in addition to completing the student registration form. Student pharmacists will not be allowed to participate in the Adopt-a-Student program if a student registration form is not also received.
All registration materials must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2017. If you have any questions, please e-mail Jennifer Crawford, MPA education assistant, at Jennifer@MichiganPharmacists.org or call at (517) 377-0225. Also visit the MPA website for additional information about the Annual Convention & Exposition.
