Student MPA members are reminded that registration for the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation (MPF) Adopt-a-Student program ends on Jan. 25! In addition, if you have already registered for the program, please don’t forget to send your supplemental information to the Association to assist “parent” participants with selecting a student to adopt.

By being “adopted,” you have the opportunity to network with a pool of mentors. In addition, you will spend the evening of Saturday, Feb. 28 during the Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition with your adoptive pharmacist “parent.” Pharmacist parents are a great source of advice, stories and general wisdom. This is your chance to start building the foundation for a lasting mentoring relationship.

Registration is available online as a part of the Annual Convention registration. In addition, please see our flyer online for more information about the MPF Adopt-a-Student program.

If you have already registered, please don’t forget to send the following information to MPA Fellow Ashley Builta at Ashley@MichiganPharmacists.org no later than Jan. 25:

  • Area of practice that you are interested in
  • A short biography about yourself (one paragraph or 4-5 sentences), including your professional goals and why you chose pharmacy as your career path
  • A high-resolution headshot photograph
