New Dues Payment Options – NOW Available!

Great news! MPA now offers monthly and quarterly dues payment options through our website at Recurring payment options allow you the flexibility to spread the cost of membership throughout the year, rather than writing one check for renewal each year. MPA is hopeful that this payment flexibility contributes to a strong growth of Michigan pharmacists who have not previously been MPA members.


Monthly and quarterly dues payments are only available through It’s important to note that all MPA memberships, regardless of payment option, are 12 consecutive month memberships. Local Associations – Activity Reports Due Nov. 30!

MPA would like to remind all local associations that the reporting deadline is quickly approaching! Every year, local associations are required to document their activities and submit this report to MPA by Nov. 30 to maintain compliant status and receive dues allocations. Failure to submit documents within a timely manner may result in probation status from the Local Association Development Committee (LADC). Local presidents and secretaries should have received information in September regarding what information still needs to be reported to MPA. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Commercial Prescription Drug Plan

As of Oct. 1, 2016, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) has made a Commercial (non-Medicare) Prescription Drug Plan available to participating pharmacies. This change has expanded access to vaccines and immunizations for many patients. Mark Your Calendars – MPA Annual Convention Feb. 24-26, 2017!

Registration Now Open: Recap of Pharmacy Policy Changes 2016 Webinar!

Join the Capital Area Pharmacists Association and Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) on Dec. 6 from 7-8:15 p.m. for a webinar recap of pharmacy policy changes in 2016. Presented by Eric Roath, MPA director of professional practice, this webinar will educate participants on changes in the law that have occurred throughout 2016, guidance impacts that influence the practice of pharmacy and recent trends in third party payer policy.
