The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Committee has also created a survival guide for ambulatory care pharmacists. The survival guide contains information on legal implications, credentialing and privileging, collaborative practice agreements, billing practices, pharmacist extender utilization, quality metrics and dashboard development, and evolving and expansion of pharmacy practice. In an effort to provide valuable resources throughout the state, the Committee has included contact information for ambulatory care practice sites within the toolkit. These pharmacists volunteered to serve as a resource for others who are initiating ambulatory care services or those who would like to expand existing services and agreed to allow MSHP to share their contact information with members. While most of the toolkit content is available to everyone, access to the practice site list is a member-only benefit.
