Additionally, this ACPE-accredited training program fulfills the requirements of Michigan Board of Pharmacy Administrative Rule R 338.581b for pharmacists to prescribe hormonal contraception under MCL 333.17744g.

Upon purchasing this course, please look for a confirmation email that will include program instructions for accessing the APhA home-study materials online. Learners will have access to review the entire Program content for 365 days in their My Training page on www.pharmacist.com.

Additionally, once the purchase is complete, it is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please refer to MPA's refund policy for continuing education programs with additional questions.

This CE program is a series of four courses that must all be completed with a final assessment passed with a score of 70% or better in order to receive a certificate of completion. The courses include:

  1. Hormonal Contraceptive Products
  2. Assessing Patients for Hormonal Contraception
  3. Communicating About Hormonal Contraceptives
  4. Pharmacy Practice Operations

Questions about the My Training platform or issues with certificate retrieval should be directed to APhA via e-mail education@aphanet.org. APhA’s continuing pharmacy education policy provides learners with two opportunities to successfully complete the continuing pharmacy education assessment. Please note that you will not be permitted to submit the assessment a third time. The current policy of the APhA Education Department is not to release the correct answers to any of our CPE tests. This policy is intended to maintain the integrity of the CPE activity and the assessment.
